Campus Life
Depending on the semester, our campus typically enrolls between 10-20 full-time students. We have many students spend one semester at our campus or others will do their full four semesters. We offer up to 20 credits per semester and classes are taught by local pastors and missionaries. Twice a week, students will be involved in ministry life at a local Calvary Chapel as part of the M199 Christian Ministry class and may serve in kids ministry, youth ministry, coffee ministry, or A/V. Students will also go on weekly sightseeing adventures around Okinawa and learn about Okinawan history, culture, and food. If you attend in the fall, there will be many opportunities to relax in the sun, go snorkeling or paddle boarding at some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Students will also have a chance to go street evangelizing or attend a night of prayer on a weekly basis.
We like to think of ourselves as one big family in Christ. If you enjoy the idea of studying the Word of God in a smaller campus setting and would like to learn more about ministering in a foreign country, consider attending a semester at CCBC Japan.
